"This cohort [program] is exactly what women of color need to heal ourselves. Although we all do social justice related work, this space was about genuine connections as women and healing in our strengths, our emotions. I loved the safety this cohort provided and I am better equipped to provide those spaces for women and organizers who come after me."

Our Publication: A Pedagogy Guide

In 2021, we worked with the amazing Susan Wilcox to share our experiences building Power 50 and women's fellowship into Calling In and Up: A Leadership Pedagogy for Women of Color Organizers*. We invite you to make time when you can to read the full guide and immerse yourself in the stories and the thinking that inspired the tools and session guides you’ll find on this website.

*Our thinking has evolved since we published in 2021. While you will see language of "women of color organizers" used in the downloaded guide, we now describe our work as by and for "women-identified people of color".
